Most of the kids ask the teacher or parents, why we need to do so many math? But our approach in the class room and the quality math instruction will ensure that this question is asked infrequently. Our instruction incorporates techniques that are designed to demonstrate to children the relevancy of math to their daily lives, the world around them and their future careers. We strive to provide a real-world context for the skills that we teach and tell students the rationale behind the concept of teaching.

Every child is different. It is very important they get the right attention in the class room. Classrooms are over crowded and children do not get the one-on-one attention they should. Our approach provides the children with the individualized one-on-one attention they need to help them better understand the various math approaches. The teacher also helps the children boost their self-esteem. Our teachers are in the top class academically and highly experienced teaching the fundamental. A good math teacher can make learning math more fun. We guarantee the enhancement in grades and attitude towards learning Math at CSL.

Our Approach in the Math Class:

  • Highly qualified and experience teachers
  • Highly interactive, fun learning environment & real world concepts
  • Focus on fundamental, speed and accuracy
  • Individualized one-on-one attention
  • Customize the sessions as per student’s level
  • Unique Blend of Curious-Brain Math & Curious-Strategy Math in one class

SAT ACT Math

We prepare students for college admission tests and all national standard tests. Our courses are designed uniquely to boost the student’s confidence and score very high in their tests. Our instructors hold higher degree which includes PhD, who have scored 99th percentile or higher in their tests and experts on preparing students. SAT and ACT Math Placement Tests Practices are also available to make sure students are ready for the test. We offer in-depth review of math topics within small group environment. Analysis from all test and homework will be used to determine if any students need additional help, and provide materials necessary for the topics.

AP Math

This class prepares for AP Calculus. Advanced Placement (AP) courses are the most challenging courses. AP Exams are only offered once a year by the College Board. Based on the AP test scores, students are offered college credits.

Math for Competitions

We offer the following math competitions:
  • Math Kangaroo- National Math competition
  • Math Olympiad – National Math Olympiad
  • Continental Math League – National Math Competition
  • Johns Hopkins- Center For Talented Youth (JH-CTY): JH-CTY identify unique talented students from 7th & 8th grade. It uses the SAT math score to identify them and help them in advancing their bright career as gifted students.
  • AMC-8 AMC-10/12: Eligible top middle and high school students can participate in this competition. It’s a very challenging and prestigious competition. The students who qualify this competition will advance to take part further in the international competitions.

TESTIMONIALS +

We are very pleased with Curious Science & Learning program for my son. It has given a lot more than just academics. The program benefits are immeasurable as it has also taught him discipline, patience, handle failures and to enjoy success. We are happy to say that Curious science & Learning is benefiting from all those above. I especially have seen him gain more confidence in mathematics. My son loves math and numbers. But this program has given him wings to imagine, create and accuracy, within short amount of time. The program is not generalized like other institutes. It recognizes the child’s present level of understanding the math, and then customizes the program as per child’s capacity. We highly recommend this program to any child at any level. The team’s devotion to each child made all the difference. Thanks to the dedicated team.

This is a great science program. My kids love coming to the classes and learning something new about science in each class. The teachers are nice and make learning fun in the class room through hands-on-experiments.
Rit, Billerica, MA
This Science program is very good and it certainly creates interest and enthusiasm among kids about science with hands on learning and explanation. Having a lesson of a topic, a test, homework and hands-on-activity in one class is very impressive and I can say that the kids are really learning something new in every session. Dr. Bish and teachers are very good at explaining to kids and considers the feedback from parents. I am very much impressed with this program and would definitely recommend others.
Bharathi, Hudson, NH
Our kids love "Curious Science & Learning" - they enjoy doing hands on experiments and learning everyday science facts in a fun filled way. The curriculum is nicely structured - the kids get to go do the hands on experiments, go on field trips to MIT and other institutes/museums and present their research to their classmates and other renowned scientists at the end of each term. Dr. Bish, Mamta and the rest of the team are very dedicated and resourceful! I readily recommend this program to all our aspiring future scientists!
